What is Creativity?

Good fucking question.

What is creativity? Where does it come from? Is any work really original work? You're a "creative" person, so the ideas should just come spewing out... right? The inquiries, debate and misconceptions go on and on. I understand and appreciate a lot of the information in this piece. And I agree in that being creative can range from cooking dinner to sculpting a work of art. So much good stuff in here.

Photographing Cancer

Series done by American photographer, Angelo Merendino. A brave, moving and down right incredible series. Taking photos along the way as his girlfriend battled cancer. I'm posting the first picture here, but please, click the credit link and check out the series. It's a wonderful and very personal insight into the path that Jennifer went through. Wow.

GWAR & Me, A Decade Later

It'd been 10 years since I'd seen them live. It was long overdue. The blood, the guts, the gore. Yeah, I missed it. And running into some old friends was icing on the cake. Some shots from the epic show below, including the bathroom mess that would normally startle anyone in different circumstances.

Banksy Does NYC

I'm sure everyone's heard of Banksy and his NYC escapades over the past couple weeks. If not, here's two of the videos for a couple things, most of all the Rebel video makes me sad. Considering I was obsessed with Dumbo when I was a child. I'll leave it at that.
