And let's do it at the Boxing Room.
Opened just over a year ago in 2011 – so it's been around for a bit – but I hadn't heard about it. Louisiana-influenced cuisine and housed in an old Standard Shirts Factory building in Hayes Valley it's a definite spot to check out. I can't tell you how much I loved this place. Killer food, great atmosphere and to top it off our server, Ross, was outstanding. I can't say enough about him. Especially coming from working in Hospitality for almost 10 years, I would hope that I know stellar service when I get it.
Some recos - Try the Boudin Balls, the Gumbo is fantastic, Brussel Sprouts Salad was flavorful and the Beignets for dessert are wicked. Oh, and my new favorite beer (because that's important too) is Snarling Badger from the Grand Teton Brewing Co.
